In light of the continuing tragedy that is the current conflict in Ukraine, Seraphim and Renaissance Men, New England’s professional male vocal chamber ensemble, will unite to make a joint call for peace with a bold, new presentation of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, Op. 47. Powerful interpolations of Russian, Ukrainian, and other regional folk songs will bring into dialogue distinct musical legacies. With songs of joy, love, and salvation, we’ll cry for an end to violence in Ukraine and throughout the world with one loud voice.

The Icon Museum and Study Center, located in Clinton, Massachusetts, will host a display of about a dozen icons from their collection before and after each concert.

Seraphim is offering reduced price passes to The Icon Museum in Clinton, Massachusetts as an adjunct to this concert. The cost is $10 and the tickets will be held for you at the concert box office. Icons were traditionally used in all-night vigils in Russia and Ukraine as a visual aid to focus the prayers and veneration of worshippers, and as elements contributing to a church’s beauty and spiritual atmosphere..
