Eric Christopher Perry, Music Director
Renaissance Men, Guest Ensemble

In light of the continuing tragedy that is the current conflict in Ukraine, Seraphim and Renaissance Men, New England’s professional male vocal chamber ensemble, united to make a joint call for peace with a bold, new presentation of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, Op. 47. Powerful interpolations of Russian, Ukrainian, and other regional folk songs brought into dialogue distinct musical legacies. With songs of joy, love, and salvation, the singers cried for an end to violence in Ukraine and throughout the world with one loud voice..

Perry and his forces traversed the Vigil with a good sense of direction and confidence. Various solos from the choir emerged strongly.”

Jonathan Blumhofer, Boston Classical Review, 10 March 2026
